   (1)  Leopold Trebitsch was a silk producer who  donated a large sum of money to the Vienna Chess Club for a series of
tournaments. The first was held in 1907 just after the death of Trebitsch. This tournament was the second edition,

and was followed by many more. A more complete history can be found at van Reek’s informative pages:
          http://www.endgame.nl/trebitsch.htm
   (2)  WSZ N8-9 (Apr-May 1910) p123.
   (3)  Extensive research in Austrian newspapers contributed both additional games and scheduling details. Coverage
in both WSZ, DSZ and BCM was also used.  There was extensive coverage of early rounds, allowing reconstruction
of Berger tables. Chessbase had 16 games, plus 3 additional found on Anno, gave 19 games out of 58.
   (4)  (Neuigkeits) Welt Blatt 1909.12.30 p16 and  Neue Freie Zeitung 1910.01.25 p12
   (5)  Neue Freie Zeitung 1910.01.25 p12, Krejcik’s prize was for the best score during the 2nd half pairings.

From DSZ v65 N3 (Mar 1910) p91 we find the following RR2 xtab:

Vienna (1909-10) - 2e Trebitsch Memorial - RR2 xtab. - DSZ v65 N3 (Mar 1910) p91

Only 19 games seem to be available for this tournament, 16 have previously appeared in databases like <ChessBase>, and 3 additional games have been found in local comtemporaneous newspaper coverage. The same newspaper coverage can be used to partially reconstruct the playing schedule. The actual game coverage is extensive enough to reconstruct the Berger player listing. This allows the entire Berger tables to be reconstructed – which allows stubs with proper rounds/colors to be generated for the entire RR2.

Using this Z-base PGN here is the RR2 xtab:

I would have liked to show a CBlight xtab, but it seems to have difficulty recognizing the tournament, possibly because the games span the New Year.
